Frequently asked questions about eSIM-compatible phones

1. How do I know if my device is eSIM compatible?

Check out our list or do the following: Navigate to your device's settings menu. Look for sections related to "SIM card" or "Mobile network" settings. If your device supports eSIM, you should see an option to add or activate an eSIM.

2. Is the Samsung Galaxy S10 compatible with eSIM?

Unfortunately, the Samsung Galaxy S10 does not support eSIM.

3. Does the iPhone 10 support eSIM?

Unfortunately, the iPhone 10 does not support eSIM. The first Apple phones to do so were the iPhone XR and the iPhone XS in 2018. Previous models are not supported.

4. Is the Huawei P40 Pro + compatible with eSIM?

No, only the P40 and P40 Pro models are compatible. It seems that the ceramic case of the Pro+ prevents this.

5*. Is the iPhones from China and Hong Kong compatible with eSIM?

Unfortunately, iPhones from Mainland China and Hong Kong have dual physical sims but no eSIMs.

iPhone 13 Mini, iPhone 12 Mini, iPhone SE 2020, and iPhone XS with single physical sim card from Hong Kong and Macao are supported.

6. Can I use an eSIM card and a physical sim card on iPhone at the same time?

Multiple eSIMs are supported on all iPhone models that are eSIM-compatible, enabling the utilization of Dual SIM functionality with two concurrently active SIMs. Starting from the iPhone 13 series and onwards, it's even possible to activate and use two eSIMs simultaneously.

7. Is iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro, and iPhone 15 Pro Max compatible with eSIM?

Yes, iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro, and iPhone 15 Pro Max all support eSIM.

8. Can I switch eSIM carriers at any time on eSIM-enabled devices?

Yes, eSIM compatible devices allow you to add, change or delete eSIM configurations at any time. This allows you to change carriers or numbers as needed without having to change physical SIM cards.
